Do The Right Thing - Spike Lee 1989 - Drama
In the Bed-Stuy neighbourhood of Brooklyn on the hottest day of the year Mookie, the local pizza delivery man, goes about his work day. Each day is the same, Bed-Stuy brims with frustration and bigotry boiling under the surface of the fabric of a working class, culturally diverse community ready to explode. One day, a series of events leads this tension to erupt with the ensuing mayhem leaving an already broken neighbourhood to contend with the moral, economic and cultural fallout.
