In this introduction to creative writing join writer and broadcaster Mark Heywood for an online session that will give you a whistle-stop tour of the basic principles of storytelling and how to apply them in your writing. The workshop will be a blend of theory, video clips and practical advice designed to help you take your first steps as a writer.
Mark Heywood is the co-author of the bestselling Mark Dewar “Cordoba” novels. The first book in the series was shortlisted for the Crime Writers' Association Debut Dagger Award in 2008. Mark has several screenplay projects in development and is a writer/producer for several CollabFeature/Amazon Prime projects. His new stage play RHUBARB GHETTO had its world premiere at London’s biggest arts festival in February 2020. In addition he hosts THE WRITING SALON a monthly in-person/virtual event designed to help writers.
