We are excited to announce the opening of Sushi Revolution taking over the old Kaboola Kitchen site on Ferndale Road, the newly renovated venue will feature a dine at sushi counter and bar, offering a modern interpretation of a traditional Japanese izakaya.

Opening in May is a new sushi and izakaya concept from dream team Sticks n Sushi alumnae, Aidan Bryan and Tom Blackshaw. Having worked together at some of London’s busiest and largest sushi restaurants they are now ready to go it alone in Brixton.

Tongue firmly in cheek they ask you to rebel against the establishment and join the Sushi Revolution! The menu will be in two parts: ‘Sushi’ and ‘The Revolution’; the former including freshly prepared handmade sashimi, nigiri and makis and the latter their innovative take on Japanese Izakaya classics all with a rebellious twist.

A continuously updated drinks list will highlight both local and international wine, beer and sake with a small, crafted cocktail menu designed to complement the cuisine.

From the 18th of May, Sushi Revolution will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 10pm and available for delivery/takeaway on Deliveroo and Uber Eats. All Upstairs members can enjoy a 10% discount on dine in food until the end of August.
