EATING FOR A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP WITH SOPHIE TROTMAN

Our second of three lecture dates with Sophie will cover eating for a good night's sleep. We all know how much better we feel after a good night's sleep but do you know how sleep also impacts our hunger-regulating hormones, immune system and much more? Sleep problems have been exacerbated over the pandemic so it's even more important to give yourself the best chance of some good shut eye. In this 45 minute session, she will cover:

  • The far-reaching importance of sleep

  • Circadian rhythm - what's the big deal?

  • Nutrition and lifestyle factors affecting sleep

  • Nutrition and supplements to improve sleep quality

  • Sleep hygiene - the importance of a bedtime routine

As a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Sophie is passionate about empowering individuals to optimise their health. She has studied at the prestigious Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, completed a one-year Science Access Course and a three-year Nutritional Therapy Diploma studying the latest evidence based research from pioneering experts and partaking in clinical practice.
