Our book for May will be 'Fates and Furies' by Lauren Groff. It takes place in New York and examines how different people in a relationship can have disparate views on the relationship. According to Groff, she originally envisioned the novel as two separate books, but she was encouraged by her agent to rewrite them as one integrated work. The novel is influenced by Greek Mythology; deities and vengeance are themes throughout.

June - Thursday 30th June, 6.30 - 8pm
Our book for June will be 'Ask Again, Yes' by Mary Beth Keane. A profoundly moving novel about two neighbouring families in a suburban town, the friendship between their children, a tragedy that reverberates over four decades, the daily intimacies of marriage, and the power of forgiveness.
