Our book for July will be 'In The Heart of Hidden Things' by Kit Whitfield. A compelling fantasy fiction where everyone knows that if you fall afoul of the People, you must travel the miles to Gyrford, where uncounted generations of fairy-smiths have protected the county with cold iron. We are lucky enough to have Kit joining us for the meeting to answer your questions.

August - Thursday 25th August, 6.30-8pm
Our book for August will be 'The Paper Palace' by Miranda Crowley Heller. Set in a sprawling set of cabins in the woods by the Cape, home for generations to Elle and her family. Every summer she goes there with her husband, three children and her mother. This story is told over a 24 hours period with flashbacks to the past focusing on the dynamics of her dysfunctional family and her relationship with her best friend Jonas. These interludes show how the past dominates and fashions her present life and marriage.
