This month's bookclub will be taking place over Zoom due to the club being closed over Christmas.

Our December book will be 'An Almond for a Parrot' by Sally Gardner, writing as Wray Delaney, who will be joining us on the call. The book is about Tully, who awaits trial, her life hanging in the balance. With the best seats already sold in anticipation of her execution, Tully's one chance of survival is to reveal her life story. It's a tale that takes her from back-street skivvy to celebrated courtesan - and now she must tell it to save her life.
