Do you have a love of music and poetry? Ever been fascinated by the art of song writing? Come and take part in this immersive creative writing workshop that fuses music, discussion and writing. The workshop highlights the value of song writing and shows how it can be used as a form of therapy or to get your point across.

A verse will be picked from a particular artist who displays a high level of skill and technique so you can analyse and identify different themes, emotions and writing methods. The workshop starts with an open discussion about each person’s interpretation of the verse and is concluded with an exercise which allows you to have a go at formulating your own piece of writing.

By the end of the evening your creative juices will be flowing and you will have the ability to not only write song lyrics, but do it extremely well!
