STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP


Our previous stress management workshops have proved very popular with members relaying the benefits they experienced in dealing with stress, which we need now more than ever. This workshop combines techniques of breath work, movement and mindfulness that allows you to:

  • Learn what it means to build resilience to stress and anxiety

  • Learn how to build 'vagal tone', the nerve that, if strong, allows us to return quickly to a state of calm after stressful experiences

  • Develop a deeper understanding of how your body responds to stress and trauma and how to take control of this process

  • Develop real tools and skills to continue your personal resilience building

  • Look at movement and body position in the context of stress

Jessica, a practicing psychotherapist since 2006, has developed a unique approach to building resilience to stress. Her background is in one to one psychotherapy, teaching at universities and in the private sector, work in the NHS, trauma services, group work and offering mindfulness in the workplace.
