STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP


Getting back to work after the summer break can be a stressful business, but with Jessica Calvo Andexer's tips on stress management and mindfulness you'll find it a breeze! 

The workshop will combine techniques of breath-work, movement and mindfulness that will allow you to:

  • Learn what it means to build resilience to stress and anxiety

  • Learn how to build 'vagal tone', the nerve that, if strong, allows us to return quickly to a state of calm after stressful experiences

  • Develop a deeper understanding of how your body responds to stress and trauma and how to take control of this process

  • Develop real tools and skills to continue your personal resilience building

  • Look at movement and body position in the context of stress

Jessica, a practicing psychotherapist since 2006, has developed a unique approach to building resilience to stress. Her background is in one to one psychotherapy, teaching at universities and in the private sector, work in the NHS, trauma services, group work and offering mindfulness in the workplace.
