We have already completed the first in this life drawing course with huge success. Week 2: 11/03/20 GESTURE DRAWING
The class will focus on pin pointing and translating the essence of the pose with speed. Introducing the concept of movement and how to express that in our drawings. Lots of quick poses - it’ll be challenging but fun!

Week 3: 25/03/20 TRADITIONAL DRAWING METHODS - LIGHT AND SHADE
Introducing a traditional method of drawing the human figure finishing with some longer poses. This is a systematic way of drawing and a great basis to understanding how paintings are built up and developed.

Week 4: 8/04/20 PORTRAITURE
The basics needed to depict the human face at a variety of angles, and how to approach this when drawing the whole figure.

Week 5: 22/04/20 FIGURE AND CLOTHES
Using different colour and media, we will be experimenting with line type and modelling to describe clothing and the way it interacts with the figure. Fun, and as always, short poses working up to longer studies.
