Upstairs member and friend of The Department Store, Isabel Fletcher, will be giving an online lecture on her career as a clothing and textile designer, working with sustainable practises and the path that lead her to where she is today. She will discuss the importance of consuming less and valuing the craft of our possessions – themes that seem particularly appropriate right now in these unsettled times. As well as this, she will discuss the art of using natural dyes and suggest some simple sewing ideas to keep us busy over the next few weeks!
