The Ceramics Diploma course at City Lit is a major advanced practice course which trains students to become professional practitioners in the field of contemporary ceramics in the UK. The course was set up in the late 1980’s and has been running successfully ever since, with many students going on to have major careers in the field of contemporary ceramics. The course gives students the opportunity to develop their practice to a high level, both practically, creatively and intellectually.

This exhibition showcases sixteen students work, and shows the quality and diversity of practice that can be achieved in ceramics.
