MUSIC
Upstairs DJ Edd Kilvert has put together 4 hours of perfect barbecue tunes. Soulful sunshine music taking in Latin, Soul, Hip Hop, Disco, House, Broken Beat and more, whilst paying tribute to some of the musical legends we’ve sadly lost in the last few months.
Rest In Peace to Bill Withers, Florian Schneider, Manu Dibango, Mike Huckaby, Tony Allen and Brixton Legend and friend of Pure Vinyl - Ty. All of them leave behind incredible legacies which have had an undeniable impact on music and will continue to do so for years to come.

Edd’s selections have been heard at venues from Brilliant Corners to Village Underground, stations from Balamii to NTS, and festival stages from Czech Republic to Croatia.
LITERATURE
For all true crime lovers or history buffs ‘The Devil in White City’ by Erik Larson is a fantastic read. This book simultaneously tells the story of chief architect of the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair Daniel H. Burnham and prolific serial killer H. H. Holmes. One man created what was touted at the time as one of the wonders of the world while the other used the chaos and hysteria of the World’s Fair to hide hideous crimes. Erik Larson brings to life both of their stories in this thrilling and engaging read.
PODCASTS
Invisibilia: Invisibila explores the intangible forces surrounding us; our ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions and how they shape human behaviour. With weekly changing subjects they aim to fuse narrative storytelling with investigative reporting to help you see your own life differently.
The Rewatchables: Each week Bill Simmons and his rotating guests break down a beloved ‘rewatchable’ film. Using categories and some ‘half arsed’ internet research, they go through what makes that particular film great and what it might be lacking.
