They are back! This time with a special Spring session Upstairs. As the road map unfolds we are finally able to gather inside for great live music. So why not join us to listen to great classical and contemporary tunes.

The Brixton Chamber Orchestra delivers fantastic orchestral experiences to wide-ranging audiences in Brixton and wider South London. These young professional musicians champion classical music to new audiences in innovative ways and unexpected places. They also engage whole-heartedly with varied musical genres traditional to Brixton, often in collaboration with local artists. They are Brixton’s own orchestra, a product of local talent and that unique blend of creative energy and cultural diversity which characterises the area.

They’re about to come out of hibernation for a busy Spring and Summer, with performances as far afield as Oval and West Norwood! Live Upstairs at the Department Store they will showcase all they do, with classical, jazz, pop and rap. They’ll welcome guest vocalists to deliver a bespoke programme, including local singer-songwriter Haniell with new songs from his upcoming album.
