Thursday 2nd February: ‘Hamnet’ by Maggie O’Farrell
Hamnet is a 2020 novel Maggie O’Farrell. It is a fictional account of Shakespeare’s son, Hamnet, who died at age 11 in 1596. In 2020, the book won the Women’s Prize for Fiction and national Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction.

Thursday 2nd March: ‘The Sense Of An Ending’ by Julian Barnes
The Sense of an Ending is narrated by a retired man named Tony Webster, who recalls how he and his clique met Adrian Finn at school and vowed to remain friends for life. When the past catches up with Tony, he reflects on the paths he and his friends have taken.

Thursday 30th March: ‘The Graveyard Book’ by Neil Gaiman
The Graveyard Book traces the story of the boy Nobody "Bod" Owens who is adopted and reared by the supernatural occupants of a graveyard after his family is brutally murdered.
