December: 'Tomorrow I Become a Woman' by Aiwanose Odafen
Loosely based on the stories of real women known to the author, Tomorrow I Become a Woman follows a complex relationship between mother and daughter as they grapple to come to terms with tremendous loss.

It will be a really wonderful opportunity to talk to this exciting new author about her book and her writing.

January: ‘Hamnet’ by Maggie O’Farrell

Hamnet is a 2020 novel Maggie O’Farrell. It is a fictional account of Shakespeare’s son, Hamnet, who died at age 11 in 1596. In 2020, the book won the Women’s Prize for Fiction and national Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction.
