THE STORY
Upstairs is a laid-back members club in the heart of Brixton serving fine food and drinks on the top floor of The Department Store.
Originally designed as a social space for Squire & Partners architects, who developed the award winning building and occupy the floors below, Upstairs was opened to friends, family and the local community as a relaxed social space. And the word spread! Due to rapid demand Upstairs launched as a members club in November 2018. We also have Private Dining rooms available for hire to non-members, including an exquisite space beneath our glazed dome.

We offer a creative menu designed around the British seasons, using our own rooftop produce where possible. Presented on our bespoke ceramic plates, the sharing menu allows Guests to experience many flavours from the Upstairs kitchen.
